Check Engine Light ..... strangeness...

Ok, I drove my 240sx today, I always had my check engine light on when I first picked it up from the kid. He said he put crappy gas and it came on. I was like um ok.

I have upgraded to 91 Plus Octane, and now the CEL will kind of flash intermittently if I'm stepping on the gas. If I'm coasting, it will not flash.

(The kid kind of hacked up the wiring for the Mass Air Flow Sensor. So I don't know if the wiring is right there, or if it has an issue.

Anyone can help me with this?

Pull some code off of your ECU and see if it is knock sensor or o2 sensor.
