How concern should I be? The car is running fine with it.

yes you should be concerned, especially b/c your car is stock. i say b/c some times when you put an intake or some kind of mod, it will throw a code, all you then do is reset the check light and your fine. But since you have no mods done , there is a problem, could be small, could be large. get it checked out.

My car did the same. The front O2 sensor went out, but it still ran fine. Luckily, i worked at a nissan dealership, so i "borrowed" a diagnostic machine. Took about 20 mins to fix.1997 240sx se

1990 240sx hatch, my engine light comes on once i stay at a constant speed. usually on the freeway at about 65-75 mph constant speed, but if i accelerate or decellerate, it will turn off, but as soon i hit constant speed it turns back on. i have a K&N cone air filter and headers if that helpes in determining what is up with my engine light. any response will be appreciated
