check engine light, please help

Well yesterday i disconnected the battery cable to do some audio installation. When i connected the cable back in, i drove about 3 miles to get my gps in my car to know where i am. I think i drove around 3,000 rpm, then when i get home my SERVICE ENGINE SOON light was on. Is there something wrong because i have an intake installed long time ago. Should i just around around awhile so my car can remap F/A ratio? or i should put back the original air box and bring it to the dealer to check things out?
