do a search on here for pulling codes. i'm not 100% certain about s14, but on the obd1 s13 you get the ecu out and turn a little screw and count the flashing light. that should tell you why you have a cel. look up the code and go from there.

Its pretty simple actually. The ecu located behind the plastic shield on the right hand side of the passenger side foot-well. Take that ECU out, you will need to take out a few bolts.

Once you take it out, there will be a screw on the back i think. Turn the ignition switch to the on position, but do not start the engine. All of the 'dummy' lights in the dash should be on.

Turn the screw on the ecu now fully clockwise, (thats to the right) the check engine light should go out, then wait 2 seconds or so, and turn the screw back to its original position which is FULLY COUNTER-CLOCKwise (to the LEFT)

Search how to read the code cause i'm tired of writing. Hehe

Here's an example though if its a long blink then it'll be the first digit and when it blinks fast it'll be the 2nd digit.

Exmaple code 45 would be....blink........blink......blink........blink....blink..blink.blink.blink.blink

Hope that helps. For ECU code, i think there should be a thread on here. Seach for it...GOOD LUCK!

Oh yea if your Car is a OBDII some 95s are. You can take your car to Autozone and have them pull the codes for you for free
