Hello,Maybe it's my imagination or the start of something bad about to happen... My 240sx has been running fine since I had it, it just hit the 108k mark and the check engine light came on.It runs fine, but what possible problems could arise when this light comes on ( if there is a need to take it to a shop and spend 60-80 bucks to tell me something i already know).If anyone who has had a 95 240sx, I could use some check engine light pointers before I start shelling out some moola

It could be one of many, many things. You need to pull the codes to find out what it is. Checking codes on my OBDI '93 240SX is easy, I believe the '95s were both OBDI and OBDII (switched at some point in production).

You can always try Autozone, they used to read codes for free. Oh, make sure your gas cap is on tight.

my EGR likes to excessively vent every now and then, so I have a sporadic check engine light.
