Check Engine Light... IACV is the reason

My dash light is on. My friend cleared the iacv code with his snap-on scan tool and the dash light went off. The next time I started it up the light came back on. I have a 1990 240sx with a 95 s14 ka24de (95 computer and diagnostic port). I have replaced the iacv with in the past year and the line from the intake pipe is not kinked or leaking. Any ideas how to have the light stay out?

you need to get the FSM and see why its throwing a code, probably because of some bad wiring or a bad connection somewhere... did you replace wiht new or used?

OEM Nissan iacv... it was an updated design. I have a 95 fsm at home I'll check that. But if I recall that didn't help me even before I changed the iacv.
