my check engine light went on like a week ago. i been reading on how to check the ecu and get the codes. but i checked my ecu and it doesn't have a red or green light. is there another way to check it that i dont know of?

If you can get your hands on a scan tool then you can see what codes its throwing. Then find what the code is. Prolem is if you dont have one then you will eityher need to buy one or maybe get lucky and find someone with one. Whats going on differently with the car that out of the ordinary?

Go to an auto zone, or advance auto. They lend out scanners.

if I recall correctly, check engine lights on s13's usually refer to the O2 sensor.

how do you make it blink?
my car is running perfect its just that light that's bothering me.well like two weeks ago i accidentally cut this two little wires that are connected to the air filter it looks like a censor, well actually i just cut one because thats how i bought it.do you guys think that might be the problem? but the light went on like 4 days after that
