SO I start the car this evening to run some errends and the check engine light comes on and the car starts running rough like someone pulled the sparkplug wire. I then excelerate to 4k rpm and stop it goes off. I arrive at my destination about 10 miles, After im done I sart the car and the light is on again i tried what i did the first time and it doesnt work. I then go to eat and again shut it off and get back in and I start it and no light.

I am thinking I have bad injector or 2 (colorado gas claims another victim) I am going to try and run the codes and probably scedual a trip to the dealer. What do you guys think?

Wiggle your MAF connector.

I agree. Similar thing happened to me. Stumbling and stalling, rough idle. Happened only intermittently for a few weeks. I got codes for knock sensor and leaky injector. I jiggled the MAF connector and pushed it on tight (also jiggled the KS and injector harness connectors). That was a few months ago and I haven't seen the problem since. It's worth trying before taking it anywhere.

So it happened again last night, we goto target I start it up the light turns on. I then park it pop the hood and tap the MAF and wiggle the connector nothing changes. I close the hood drive out of the parking lot the light turns off. Would the sensor immediatly turn off or would the ecu have to figure out it was working. Any other tests you guys think I should perform

Thanks for the help!

Look in the factory repair book under the "FI & EC" tab (fuel injection and emmission control). My reading is that any time the check-engine light is on, the ECU goes into "limp home" mode (I may be wrong about that specific -- I'm pretty sure the reverse is true).

The ECU tries "normal" mode every time you restart the car. If I were troubleshooting, I would be extra suspicious of intermittent grounds. The "FI & EC" section will give you some very specific things to think about and plenty of test procudeures even without a Consult.

I suggested the MAF connector because that's a normal weak spot. (Having a problem with mine now myself.)
