Check engine light came on this morning...07 M45

not really sure why,but as I'm driving on the freeway about 80mph I started smelling gas like I was behind someone with really bad exhaust fumes but it didnt go away then the light came on....I made an appt to bring it to the dealer tom so its just sitting in my garage for now....kinda weird....I only have about 2200 miles, car is brand new. I wonder if it has anything to do w my greddy exhaust? I know its not the gas because I only use shell premium in all my cars no matter what and I didnt recently fill up and gas cap is very tight....lets see what they say. I'll post tomorow whenI know more.
