so i have a 1994 q45..ive been noticing a check engine light coming on only after a warm soak..when this check engine light comes on i notice the car shaking a bit at stops and almost seems light a fuel/spark starvation. any ideas to what could be causing this problem. the car just rolled over 127k if that helps..thanks in advance for the help..been trying to solve this issue for some time. i have given the necessary tune up and now im guessing injector or coil issues?

It most likely could be the MAF sensor. Pull off the sqare cover and lift up on the copper heat sheild and inspect the board with your eyes (If you have good ones) or a magnifing glass.

When was the fuel pump and spark plugs changed and with what make?

Quit guessing or asking others to guess your issue......you have no reason to guess when you can simply read what codes are causing the check engine lamp to illuminate- pretty simple to figure out, for free.

If you don't have the special connector and software to run on a laptop, a Consult diagnosis is your best choice.

I'm putting my money on Code 34- EGR. Activates with a warm engine after 15-20 minutes and the timing retards (or is it advances?) at the same time. Ever been cleaned?

We're anxiously waiting for you to pull the codes. I reserve the right to change my guess if you ohm the injectors before pulling the codes. (Hint, hint.)

well i know this site is for answering technical ?'s for those of us who dont have the ability to do some stuff..if im wrong plz correct me.....i cant pull the codes because in order to do that the check engine light must be on and like i said it turns off afta i get goin or after the car is idling for a second so theres not enough time to get them in time before it sais there is no issue???? i checked and cleaned the maf few months ago..spark plugs at the same time and the fuel pump was rebuilt and checked by my mechanic as well..injectors were my next check but far to much work and time if its not them..but thanks for the answers if u have anything else for me plz lemme know what to check

Plugs should be PFR5G-11 only! Your climate is too cold for the 6 heat range and too warm for 4.
