CheapTurbos "Summer Deal", Any Thoughts?

by the way what kind of advantages would i be looking at to switch from the 35mm tial wastegate to the new 38mm one that is taking its place? is it worth it to put out a few more bucks?

I looked at that too, it's not a bad deal, you don't save all that much money though. For one you get the older Tial 35mm wastegate.

For $1239.00 I can get a turbo (cheapturbos.com $550) a tial 38mm HP wastegate (road race, $240) and an intercooler (eBay, usually something like $440-$450 shipped for 21x11x3 or something) so that comes to $1240 for a kit with a better wastegate and I don't personally like the 3.5" core, I would go 2.75-3" max.

if anyone wants to know where to find a turbo kit for the ka24e theres a great site to check...these techs have been working with the ka24e and have proven 9's with there turbo kits in the ka24e in a datsun 1200...so....if u want to know...i think its only 1400.00...check the site... http://www.realnissan.com...

I believe the HP version is like a hybrid version of whatever size you get and the next size up.

So the 35mm would be all 35mm. The 35mm HP would have a 40mm base (the next size up) and a 35mm top.

The cost isn't too much different and it can help with boost creep alot from what I hear.
