After two years of use, an aftermarket Ebay(Blue) radial arm snapped on my Q. This was not related to any impact and in fact happened when I was coasting in a parking lot. Out of nowhere you could hear a single loud pop. I thought that maybe some of you fans of cheap Ebay parts, like myself, might appreciate this. My thought is that metal fatigue had set in due to the constant shock on this solid metal piece that does not have any eurothane dampening. I put back the original radial arm with a replaced bushing until further action. Does anyone out there have have a high quality adjustable radial arm?

Sorry that I did not take a picture, the bad part went right into the recycle bin. I will report that it was clean break, the kind you would where a steel rod is over loaded. My thought was that the quality of the steel was extremely low. Had this occured at highway speed, I am sure that there would have been many dangerous possibilities. One final note, the adjust ment on this radius arm was very moderate.
