i have heard that with sportlines on kyb agx, the life of the strut is shortened. can anyone confirm this? i really like the idea of adjustable struts and have heard only good things about them, but i would hate to ruin $400 struts just because i was the car to look really low. anyone have comments or suggestions?> lol

i think it does shorten the life but im not sure. use the search button.

Kyb's one year warrenty is also void if lowering springs are used.in Kyb's notice it says that the warrenty is void if lowered more than 1 1/2 inches or slammed

Go to Tire Rack. They are good guys, and have awesome prices. I was able to get my AGX's from Tire Rack for $100 cheaper per strut that my mechanic could get them from his supplier.

also, the H&R spring set they sell says it drops only 1.3 inches, almost as good as the sportlines. Not sure about the product as ive never heard of them before.

How do the Koni's measure up to AGX's?

By far, the best springs to use with them would have to be the Tenabe Grip Feeling springs...A friend of mine used them on his s14 and he loves them

OR megan Racing springs. Just for springs, their kg rates are 6.4 in the front and 4.something in the rear. stiffer than tein and eibach

The Megan Racing springs for both S13 and S14 are 6.25kg (F) and 4.46kg (R). They lower the car about 1.75" both front and rear and are priced at $109.95. I haven't used them, so I can't say if they are good or not. One thing I have noticed is, that they are cheap. I wouldn't get them just because Megan Racing is just a cheap company with a girlie name...

Hey guys in a stupid moment one day I bought the R1 coilovers and TRIED to install them on stock struts shoot me...this is worthless and a waste time...sold for more than I bought them for to a civic owner. Anyways I live in NC and was talking to some people and found out about Coximports. They are 5 mins from my brothers house so I hit em it up. $422 for Pro kit and AGX's!!! SWEET!!! I wanted sport lines but KYB will not warranty anything below 2" drop. To easy to bottom them out and blow out seals ( he didn't specify which of them ). "IMO" They do have one down fall they love HONDA's and Venom. Well I will go back to them for anything cause they have anything we can use IN STOCK at the store no waiting and shipping is cheaper each time you use them a resource. These guys are trust worthy. Hope the helps someone. BTW these are for S13. S14 was similar I think I don't remember

OK, EIbach for 240sx on anything (struts) is a bad idea, compare the spring rates, the springs are way too soft for lowering car, i'm sure it do wonders for honda owners but not for the 240sx, if u must get agx (GR-2 is half the price for the same thing) get atleast s-tech springs, i've choosen dynamic auto designs's drop zone springs they are cheap as hell on ebay and it is really hard, megan racing springs are a little harder to track down, but u MUST get atleast s-tech springs, be warnedPS the cheapest place u can get AGX is summit racing (or summit performance...they r in all the magazines) and it's cheaper by like 2 dollars per strut (last time i checked....3-4 months ago), and i think its free shipping, plus they are more credible then a lot of the ebay seller
