Nitrous is your best bang for the buck, its cheap!! I would say turbo would be your second. Thats very argueable though.

i am going to use nitrous or naaaaawwwwwwssssss on a ka24de...after i plan to turbo charge it...i think its a good combo...you can use the nitrous to spool up the turbo or if it already has a quick spool up use it when you know the turbo is at its weakest rmps.

Nitrous is also a good way to cool the charge. Aside from the actual power gains of the nitrous alone, you can get a few hp out of the cooling effect.

Did anyone actually call it that before TF&TF? i seriously think no one actually called it that. Oh and for the reason this guy asked about this forum, if you go with Nitrous, make sure your car can handle it. i know of countless people who have blown engines and transmissions using the stuff.

i've been saying nawwwwsss since i was about 13. that was 11 years ago.

it wouldn't be rather or not your car could handle it, but rather how much your car can handle. don't be dumpin big shots in there the first time, or hell anytime. use responsibly unless you got deep pockets.

dude, NOS dat **** up...get a 50 shot a naaaaaawwwwsss50 horses is a pretty considerable increase...unless you got NOS, you wouldn't be able to get that amount of horses for under $2500 or $3000...if you want real power, not going the dangerous NOS way, go turbo KA, or swap the engine out for a 200hp red top SR20DET!

Go with one of the JWT systems. a little more expensive than NOS or NX or any of the other brands, but its good **** from what i read on the site.

You could throw a few basic bolt ons (chip, intake, exhaust, etc) but that would be expensive... so I guess nitrous is your best bet, I won't touch the stuff, but if you want it, have fun. Just don't get pulled over with it connected and ready to go...

I have to say that was funny as f*ck, but what is wrong with stickers in your car. I have stickers in my side window but please believe every sticker I have is because the part is inside my engine or in my engine. Like ACT racing clutch, fidanza aluminumn flywheel, injen, eibach, etc.. And by the way is vinyl not vinal. Just in case you did not notice what you wrote.

Well that is why you should get Nos so when this people try to race you thinking you don't have one you can beat there asses.

g--damn!! so all i need are the stickers and i'm set. with the money left over i'll just buy some racing gloves and that should boost me up to 300 hp, no prob. thanks man this is much cheaper than i thought!!!!

seriously though....what are the next few most cost effective upgrades for the s13? (besides the stickers, nawwwwwwwwwsss, gloves, & stuff). say up to the next $1000 or so and how much xtra hp would i get. grace me with your wisdom fellas.

yeah ok i think ill stick with the basic bolt ons and possibly get around to ecu and the polish & port thing if i get to antsy b4 i find an s14. i'm not really looking to put too much $$$ into the s13 cuz when i find a good deal on an s14 i'll sell the s13 and buy the s14 and do the serious engine work on that.

$800 = N2O setup$1000 = Good intake/header/exhaust$4000 = Turbo KA $4000 = SR swap

I'm just making those numbers up because I'm bored! They are off a little obviously...... point being the N20 is the BIGGEST bang for the buck..... and the next step up... will be more expensive and get you less hp, but better for your car. The next two options are far more expensive..... but sooooo much better!!!!
