As of yesterday, I"m the proud owner of a 2013 INFINITY G37.

I'm looking for the cheapest possible insurance for the thing. I won't be driving is that much, so the bare minimum coverage should do.

What's a somewhat reliable insurance company that will offer be the most affordable coverage?

I"m a 27 year old male living in NYC.

All input appreciated.

It is an expensive car, get good insurance. I have always done best with State Farm, but have always had multi car-good driver-homeowners on the policy too.

Congrats on your "INFINITI" ;)

Thanks for the State Farm suggestion!

I've actually been getting quotes all afternoon, and State Farm is definitely one of the best I've gotten.

Here's how it's looking:

Allstare 105/month
Ameriprise 111
Amica 119
eSurance 113
Farmers 130
GEICO 129
Progressive 131
State Farm 99
Travelers 102

As you can see, State Farm is actually the cheapest quote I've found. Well, cheapest from a reliable company. I found a smaller guy, http://www.4autoinsurancequote.com , who quoted me at $62, but, that's obviously too good to be true. They seem a little sketchy anyways.

http://www.statefarm.com seems to be the best option for me at the moment. The 6 month policy is less than $600, which is amazing.

Great! I have never had a problem with a claim either. One, $16,000 new roof from hail damage, one $3000 because some a-hole thought it was funny to key my hubby's new truck one $16,000 because my daughter totalled her Civic. All handled with no problems at all.

Another thing about State Farm is that after you've been with them for a bit they'll start applying good driver and accident-free discounts if your record stays clear and they don't have to make payouts for accidents where you're at fault.

Not everyone can get USAA...I've had them for 15 years and use them for the home too. Just remember that it's not always about how cheap it is...but how well they handle claims when you need them.
