I'm looking for a 2" Trailer Hitch to install myself on my awesome new Rogue.
Can anyone suggest the cheapest place to purchase one for someone that lives in Toronto, Canada?

Ordering one from the US costs so much for shipping and duty!

Well, at this point, it is seeming like it makes sense to cross the border to the states and pick one up there!

Here are 2 places I suggest in the Toronto area:

Van and Truck World:

Locations in Mississauga, Oshawa,

Rack Attack:

Locations in Toronto and Mississauga

Also try places that sell trailers and RV's.

In all cases, you will have to order one in as they are usually not stock items. Expect it to take 3-7 days depending on where their supplier is.

Where did you get the hitch from? And did the $230 include installation?

I just bought a 2" Curt Class 3 (model 13185) from Trends Automotive on eBay for $145 CAD including shipping (no duties or brokerage fees). This from their FAQ, "trends_auto: If you are purchasing a Curt hitch, we ship the hitches from within Canada so you will not have to pay custom and duty fees...".

Here's the link:

Paid this morning and it shipped this afternoon. I will have it early next week.

I think that's the best deal I've seen for Canada rolade01 - Thanks!
Did you end up getting the wiring from them or somewhere else?

Paid $134 for my Curt hitch from Van & Truck World.

As for the wiring harness, the best solution is from Professional Wiring Products:
