The RB25 is close to running condition and now I'm left without one thing... money! The engine has the basic fmic and turbo back exhaust but fuel tuning is starting to concern me. I have a sard adjustable fpr, walbro 255, nismo 550's, and an hks evc boost controller, but there is no point in putting all of that on unless i can tune it somehow. What is the most effeicient and cost effective way to tune my setup? Are my choices limited to an Safc, Greddy E Manage, some kind of standalone, or a boost up ecu? Heeeellllllppppp!

I think your best bet is to research and see which system you'll be most confortable with or think you can work the best or think can be tuned by someone and give you the results you want.. everybody here can give you an opinion from what they have and like but eventually you will decide what you want.

How much do you want to spend? AFC would be cheap, Emange with the harness and the laptop would be nicer, PFC would be even nicer or a Microtech. Cost goes up from the AFC. Whats your goal? How much do you want to spend?

my goal is 350(or close to it) to the ground, stock turbo. It's hard to say what my budget is at this point because I'm still trying to save for suspension, security, and interior. I just want to tune the crap out of this rb25 with the stock turbo until it blows, and then pick up an hks gt2835 and go from there. Do you think 300-350 whp is abtainable with an apexi afc, or should I try to find a used "boost up" ecu likes the mine's one. My setup includes; greddy fmic, greddy plenum, turbo-back exhaust, sard adjustable fpr, walbro 255, nismo 550cc injectors, and an evc boost controller. Can it be done wth the afc?

That should be easy for the afc. Not sure how the driveabilty will be. It shouldn't be bad tho since it's not a huge leap in hp.

Used PFC's are rare and they go for about 750-800. They don't loose much value.
