I have a redtop sr20 and i want to raise the boost from stock 7 psi to about 12psi. would it be better to get a cheap manual boost controller off ebay or can you get an HKS actuator that is rated at 12 psi.

home depot valve (MBC) I do not recommend this but I hear it works. Id stick with Hallman MBC or any other MBCs...

Cheapest and easiest? Just unhook the vaccume line from the waste gate. Safe? No. Cheap and easy? Yes.

FWIW, the Home Depot MBCs work just as well as any other MBC I've played with, but they're a tad spikey and tend to have problems with higher pressures.

just put some washers where the wastegate's bracket sits on the turbo. 2 or 3 washers on each other. won't cost you more then a buck
