Ive never really looked into buying wheels .. what are some other brands that have a nice price like sportmax and rota?

Ive tried a search but came up empty.

I agree on the used wheels.

I got a set of Mint 18" RH C5's with new rubber for $600.

Used real wheels or nothing. Why go cheap crap? Unless you plan on sticking with them for long. Saving up really works.

Are the XXR and Sportmax 15 inch wheels strong enough for daily driving? I've seen cheap wheels break.

I like the XXR but I think they are cast aluminum.

Zombie thread!

Plenty of ppl run XXR/Sportmax. Is it fashionable? Not really. Does the low price mean cheap quality? Ehhh.... meh. Will you die if you use them? Probably not.

haha, damn, you waited 2 years to bump this thread? lol

anyways, yes, they're cast. Aside from the huge weight, the difference will be also on how they react to impact. Cast will almost crack/ break off, when, lets say alloy, will most likely bend/ warp...

here's a pic of a sportmax impact aftermath.

strong enough? yeah of course, why wouldn't they be? But I wouldn't recommend crashing. hehe
