Cheap suspension?

i need som help deciding what the best suspension to go with for a grand. ill be doin mostly grip runnin and drifting with the car (s13 btw).

No its not. A track car doesn't have $1000 "suspension". Get a better job, and save your money for better stuff.

the mobile area isnt worth that much...seriously......chill out...i just need the suspension to last 3 or 4 months then ill be able to afford the better sus.

im in the marine corp and im about to be stationed in japan. you see now why i dont want spend that much money on suspension? im takin my s13 sooo......what what would be the point when ill be in drift heaven and waist deep in every part most drifters cant even dream of. thats why i need a lil cheap suspension right now to tear up

Well, what kind of suspension do you think you want. Coilovers, adjustable suspension arms?

def not coils as of right now. ill get those later. im still gettin use to the car. all i need is some new shocks and lowerin springs. thats it

In that case then KYB AGX struts with something like Eibach spring would do. The AGX is a more aggressive dampened shock. They are adjustable (Soft-Stiff) and can handle a higher spring rate than OEM. This setup wont go as low as coilovers but handle very well for the price. (You can get all 4 struts with Eibach sportline springs for around $729 maybe even lower). You can fit the AGX with lowering springs too, so its up to you. Or for even less money you could get the KYB GR2 struts. They are marginally better than OEM, but if you are gonna drift like you said, they won't work all to well as they can't really handle a higher spring rate than OEM. Best of luck in Japan
