"INFINITI 1990 Q45 Clean car needs motor $1200/OBO" I called the guy up - it has a cream colored interior w/ Tan poly paint. The interior is very clean some wear on the front seats. The car has 143k, the eng. has 89k it starts and runs but has a big miss. Some mechanic told him it needs a motor, it sounded to me like an injector (RFG area) or coil pack is gone. Just in case somebody wants / needs a Q car sounds good to me. -Squeefoo P.S. Message me for the phone number.

Sounds like more of a liability than an asset.

If I had a house with place to put it I'd likely buy it.

I'd offer $800 cash and see what he says.

Jesda- He's in Milwaukee, WI. I figured since we all know what to look for: front tire wear, back seat hum, injector test, AD INFINITI.:pface I'd be willing to look at it, for some body (don't have a digital camera though, would send a disposable camera). I thought I would try to save it, by sticking it on the boards. -Squeefoo

Thats far, but not horribly far from where I'd be in St Louis. Shipping maybe $300, offering $1000 for the car? hmmm

First I have to see if mom will let me have a second Q for parts! I'll have a hard enough time explaining to her why I sold the Honda Accord.

?????? Would you really pay this for these parts?

Used Fuel Pump: $150Used Control Module: $150Used Water Pump: $50Used Radiator: $75Used Suspension Parts (Four): $500

On a car that old with that many miles, I would not transplant these used parts to my car even if they were free. Too risky or not enough spread on the price between used and new.

Good body panels and trim parts may be a different story.

I concur.

None of those parts USED are worth anything if you maintain your Q like you should. If yours need replacing, so do those.

I'm still waiting to find a totalled 95 Q in Ivory Pearl with under 30K miles on it. :D

YO AzQ I love you man n stuff but; I think this is good stuff for serious parts, or a good driver w/ a 1k investment (wholesale parts cash/ personal install on TCGs, injectors, F- pump, (this is my way of saving a Q car)), I'd risk more, then sell it, but I'm broke! 'til Nov. AZ HitMan I owe you for the shocks, BUMPS. I'm trying to do the same (help somebody) with this, and I agree on the standard wear parts. i.e. Water pump $72 NEW? (not factory), Fuel pump used (don't do it) Suspension parts? (don't do it) unless you are OK w/ pressing ball joints, bushings in, ( I Am ) I think a good tune, i.e; FF, Plugs, injector clean, all new fluids, aside from the obvious TCG swap, and miss prob. fix, could save this Q from the crusher, which is where this Q is going -- which is the point of this post.
