Have been researching for the better part of a year trying to decide on what turbo's to go with. With my current budget, many of the cheaper turbo's caught my eye. Did some research, mixed reviews. Thought I found some good ones that had a warranty, came balanced, and everything seemed legit. Then I found this, and boy am I glad I did:

There's some concrete, and very detailed info on the Chinese turbos. Not trying to start anything, just an interesting read that hopefully deters anyone from buying them.

75% of that is true the rest is company propaganda, yes knocks offs can ruin your engine, and might kill you, there are real good turbo companies out there,,my faves are garret, and (flame suit on)godspeed, i have wanted the rally potato for about a yr now,the new gt28 would put some real punch into many a project car but its out of reach for now

Honestly I think cheaping out on turbos is a horrible idea in the first place especially on a Z32 since it requires an engine pull to change them out.

I agree, I just wanted to do some of my own research and what not to see if they were still actually as bad as what some say. Either way, just thought I'd share for other people like me. Buying 2560's so hopefully that goes as planned.
