the manifold is one off of a ford probe that has been flipped upside down and has custom pieces added to the flange to fit a ka24et. needs port matching but it will work fine, some additional precautions need to be taken into concideration.http://www.cardomain.com/id/poopooracing

i started to pull off a mani and turbo from a turbo probe the other day because of this. i didnt have the right tool with me to finish it. if anyone is interested i will get it for them once it stops raining here. i had plans for it in the future, but once again i have changed my plans

how much do you think it would cost to have you make one of these for me? i want to turbo my sohc also! If the probe manifold is hard to find i am sure i can find one at my local boneyard, mail it to you and then have you do it up. im sure other people would be interested also. just a way for you to make some moolah

there are numerous places that sell kae turbo mani's just look around.

First Generation probes were available with turbo's. After they switched body styles, the turbo went away.

i do see that import auto performance offers a manifold for SOHC but Boost designs does not. unless they have one not on their site yet. the one they offer is for KA24DE

although not TECHNICALLY listed, they sell turbo kits for the KA24E and I'm under the impression they would be willing to part w/ that manifold for the same price as a DE mani. a quick e-mail could resolve that for certain though

Well this definately has my interest. Wouldn't it be easier to take the factory flange off and weld a KA one to the mani than making those little adapters and trying to match it if its that close? I know a lot of people sell kits already but I am sure those of us who don't have the $500 to drop on just a mani are always lookin new options.

Also just a tid bit for anyone that didn't know the 1st generation mazda mx6 and ford probe came with mostly the same motors. The MX6 GT shares the same turbo engine as the probe. I have an MX6 LX so I have been lurking around the MX6 boards.

On a side note, this is really freaky. I read the rest of the page and found this really ironic.

i have a ka24e import auto performance turbo manifold its a really nice looking i don't know how it performs and wont sence i'm not turboing my kae anymore. No matter how hard i try i can't sell the thing i'll try ebay again i guess
