I have a 92 240SX SE Just wondering I see those kits on ebay for $600 for the entire turbo kit. Are they worth it?
And Do I need to do anything to my engine first?

Second cheap coil overs I want to lower my 240sx by like 1inch should I just used a cheap set?
The only problem that i see is the new springs for the front on the cheap sets is the same size as the rear?
Right now my spring in the front is like twice as wide as the rears right now..

Thanks guys!

First would suggest you do a lot of reading, on everything 240 and car related.

First for KA-T (though at this point I would not suggest you do anything), read:
adding-a-turbo-to-a-stock-ka24-noobs-read-t226410.html

Secondly, true coilover springs will be the same size on front and rear, though for a 240 the spring rates will be different. If you only want 1" drop just get lowering springs.

Quit buying cheap stuff.

You'll end up with a blown engine and terrible ride quality. But I guess that won't matter since you have a blown engine....

Do it right the first time and don't cheap out on important parts.

its funny, 240 owners never seem to have the money to do it right, but always have the money to do it twice....

And then we get mad when companies like Apex and Greddy go bankrupt? Lol, even HKS USA is shutting down.

I mean, I'm all for getting your best bang for the buck, but COMPLETE knock-off garbage just hurts the whole community. I'm not talking about Megan or ISIS either. $600 for a turbo kit? Really? That's barely a decent turbo.

Don't cheap out on building your car. Unless your just in it for some kind of cool factor. But if this is truly a hobby or a passion then why cheap out on it? Esp. parts like a turbo and suspension. Just my two cents. Do it right the first time or end up with a broken car fixing it the right way or maybe no car at all.
