$350 SHIPPED SOUNDS GOOD, WILL THAT BE WITH PRE WELDED END TANKS? THATS LIKE WHEEL TO WHEEL STYLE RIGHT?

I've been looking around ebay...almost snagged a nice one tonight actually. Is that a tube and fin design mickee? is it pressure tested?

Yes its a tube and fin... did you really think you can get a BAR and PLATE design for that cheap??? shoot the lowest ive seen for a bar and plate was like 500.....

pressure tested and the flow rate is 640... which is good up to 430 hp.... this is what ive been told by the maker....

I've seen Bar and Plates on ebay for that cheap (the one I was bidding on went for 355) I dont have a huge preference between the two and the one you have access to is larger and about the right size to be maybe just a tiny bit oversized but give me a little room to grow. So 350 shipped eh? Are these all custom utilizing cores from a different manufacturer with just some end tanks welded on, or are they made by a particular company?

umm i was told a company from Philly made the CORE.... and then the shop i deal with make his own endtanks.....

this is no robotig.... so it isnt flawless i will tell you right out so if/when you do order you will see some burnt marks becuase it is hard to clean....

There is no leaks or any complaints from the 20 that ive sold from the past 6 months or so....

ANd i dunno if i said it already but this endtanks seems to be an HKS style endtanks....

also in the picture ive provided the fins was not stretched all the way to the ends..... since then it has been streched all the way and efficiency was improved.. although it havent been pressured tested with the new design....

i forgot to mention.... that the piping utilizes 2.25..... 2.50 will just be too big for it....

Oh, burnt marks dont matter, I'm not picky about looks AT ALL. I'm trying to figure out what size the stock RB25DET throttle body is...if it's 2.25 or smaller then I dont have a problem with 2.25 inlets and outlets.

Allright, well I'll strongly consider it but it'll have to wait until the motor gets here so I can see about what might need replacing on it :) I'll e-mail you a definite yes or no when the motor gets here and I get to take a good look at it :)

Is the starion/conquest a good low-cost intercooler??? Is it big enough and free flowing enough for 15+ psi on a rb/ka24de??? Any (stock)intercooler i should be looking for that i can find on ebay???? The flow charts on the saab/volvo look like they would be the worst intercooler to get.....anyway to get them to flow better???

The starion is really quite a tiny IC...look in the direction of an Isuzu NPR if you are looking for a cheap junkyard ic :D
