Thought I'd share some things I've had success with:
1) worn steering wheel: my 91 and 93 had the leather finish wear off the wheel starting before 100k. After 150K on the 93 it was getting horrible, the thing was flaking the leather itself--yuck on the hands. I cleaned it with saddle soap and then got brave and used AJAX. I lightly sanded the really bad leather pits and then I sprayed it with an off the shelf gloss tan enamel. It looked great and lasted for two years before I sold the car just this week. It had a new wheel feel to it and the light tan went great with the brown dash.
2) worn seats and armrest through 93: go to a fabric shop and find some "pleather" close to match. Cut it into panels for the seat and armrest---glue on with commercial grade contact cement. It wont look like a new seat but-it will be a huge improvement.
3) scratched and nicked bumpers:
http://www.paintscratch.com/pricing.htmMy 94 had rough bumpers---all dinged and scratched. The spray cans from this site are matched from paint code and blended very well to the blue factory paint. I filled the scratches and sanded the repairs and then sprayed the color and clear coat. Its looks GREAT, and for one 24.99 can you can do both bumbers and rear lower Q panels! Save that $200 a bumper body shop spray cost for something more important.
