Those plastic ones for like 30-40 bucks, 12-16", really slim profile good CFMs.... unfortunately they suck and I found out the bad way:

my cheap ebay electric radiator fan couldn't handle the g-forces of me trying to corner hard/drift/do 180's, started wobbling and cut into my radiator which bled coolant by the gallon all the way home (no overheating, thank god). I lost 6 out of the 10 blades and now need a fan and a rad. got this huge cheap bling rad on ebay, i hope it fits :)This seriously cut into my turbo project spending money.... eh life goes on.

as a side note, i haven't ever considered the forces on the fan which could affect the centripetal forces exposed on it so much. I remember now, that when I would take out my hard drive and kinda tilt it while it was spinning inside, there were funny force loads on my hand, but that was just fun. imagine a 16" fan spinning at high rpms and then a few G's tilting the blades one way or another. Serious wobbling goes on there. Watch out guys, get quality fans.

I'm gonna get one from summit, the big metal-bladed one for liek 80 bucks, flows lots and looks cool, and I feel stupdi for not having bought it in the first place... damn ebay's cheap prices!

That's what I don't like about buying cheap parts on ebay. Next time the price you pay might be your engine instead of your radiator. Thats why I limit parts I buy off ebay to accesories like shift knobs or lights.

well if your getting a whole car I don't see a problem, just make sure it's in good condition and you get a look at it and/or drive it before you lay down the cash, people have been known to rip others off when it comes to selling stuff on Ebay, and not just cars. it's kinda hard to get a look or drive it before you buy when your buying on Ebay as it could be 1,000 miles away from you, but then again if it's that far I wouldn't want to buy it anyways, unless it an awsome car and an awsome deal (Skyline for a $1.....hehehe I wish) then it could be well worth it. :)
