Just wondering what you guys recomend on clutches for sr's. I'm running an estimate of about 320whp and need a clutch that will hold up for a nice while. The clutch i took out from my old sr which grabbed real hard and never slipped started slipping so bad today on the new motor and turbo setup that i cant even drive the car when warm it just slips. So any ideas would be greatly apreciated even if anyone on here has a clutch for sale and is willing to ship to Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I need something cheap for now but something that will last atleast 4-5 months...let me know thanks!

Im running an ACT heavy duty pressure plate and the street/strip (sprung) disk. I dont know what "cheap" is, I bought it from heavy throttle, be aware since you're in Alberta. Im in BC and it was a pretty good deal, untill a month later when UPS sent me a bill for ~$100 for duty/brokerage/whatever they feel like. It grabs hard on my relativly stock setup.

I bought cheap clutches before (on my other cars) and they've sucked. Nothing will piss you off more than slipping on a new clutch.

I would browse the classified sections...maybe post a WTB...someone out there probably upgraded their clutch recently and is willing to sell cheap. i would of sold mine if it was worth something. i replaced my stock with a exedy stage II ($380ish), i wouldn't call that cheap...but i like to be able to drive my car

I just found an Exedy Stage 2 clutch thats bin used for apperently 300-400 miles. Will that be good for aprox 320whp? i tried to google the hp rating on that clutch but couldnt find anything. He's asking 350 shipped does that sound reasonable? How long should i clutch last if im not realy driving hard too often but have the ocasional WOT runs =)
