Ok, here is how it goes. I know I need new shocks/struts. I know my springs are just fine. However, I want to save myself a good deal of work. I say a spring/shock combo is the way to do it. Here is how I think it breaks down:

1) About $600 gets me the ProKit and KYB AGX all around from PDM.

2) About $500 gets me the ProKit and Tokico Blue's from the group buys at http://www.240sx.org

3) About $530 gets me the ProKit and KYB GR2's from http://www.tirerack.com

So whats the deal here? Are the AGX's worth the extra dough? I'm not going autocrossing or road racing here, I just want a very nice performing suspension for your street machine. This is a mod that will carry over after an engine swap or turbo, so do I go all out here? How hard is this to install, I just swapped my whole differential a few days ago and seem to be pretty adept at these things. I did all the shocks on my old Toy pickup, but they were just 3 bolts a piece and had no springs. Sorry for such a long post, but I would appreciate the help! What shock/strut do you prefer?

I recently opted to go with the Prokits and KYB GR2. I did this, b/c as you've said, I never race or autox. And it still handles like CRAZY. I mean, i'm taking curves that I shouldn't be in excess of 80mph, WITH HARDLY ANY ROLL. Perhaps that b/c they're paired with a set of 215/35/18 Yokohama Paradas too. Those sidewalls dont really flex any. But, if you contact http://www.shox.com , I believe you can probably get a better price through them, not to mention I think they price match. I actually ended up getting my struts from tirerack and my springs from shox.com ($199).

I am about to order my spring and strut combo but i would like to know if the prokit will be a low enough drop i know it is rated at 1.8in but i have heard about them only lowering like .5-1in. Does anybody have experience with the prokit or the sportlines how much did they lower your car? Thanks!!

Eibach ProKits only lower an S13 .75 of an inch, NOT the 1.8" they list. I went through this late last year and wound up putting my 6 year old H&R springs (which were actually the 1.25" drop they advertised) back on. If you want 1.8" drop, you need the Sportlines. Or Intrax. Or Sprint. Although im not sure what those 2 lower an S13.
