Are those 2000W from ebay any good? They're way too cheap to be any good if you ask me,but i don't have $800 to spend on an amp.I need at least 600W rms power but more is better. Here's one of those cheap amps

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...pping

NO! IF it seems TOO good to be true..it probably is. How much are you willing to spend? Some good cheap choices to look at is US Acoustics, JBLI know Jbl has a 600.1 for cheap

Just save up and get a high quality amp.

Stay away from Pyle, Power Acoustik, Boss, Sony(sum may disagree).

2 twelves? Plus all your other speakers? Dude, welcome to the real world. Ain't gonna happen.

HOWEVER - If you're going low budget, and you only wanna buy one amp, I'd recommend the 600w Jensen. IMO, the Jensen amps are the most bang for the buck. MOSFET power, pretty reliable (I've had 3) and cheap enough. Do an ebay search for "Jensen 600" and check it out.

BTW, you may want to consider ditching one of the 12's and running it mono (since there's no real need for more than one - you don't get "twice the bass" with two). That way you could bridge the #5 and #6 channel outputs on a 6-channel amp to effectively double the power to the single sub. OR get a 4-channel, run your front speakers off your deck, the rears off one channel of the amp and run your sub off the other.

I'd put a well-driven 10" sub in a good sealed enclosure up against 2 cheaply-driven 12" subs ANY DAY.

p.s. They're not really 2000w power - And REAL RMS power in the 600w range will cost you more than you're willing to spend. Check out the Jensens.

With all those speakers, you will need a really powerful 5 channel amp, or 2 separate amps. The 2 amp setup is better. But if you want the 5 channel amp, look at the kenwood 959(not sure if this is the model number)

I recommend making your own box, thats what I did. Its cheaper and more fun to build your own. You just need a couple calculations and the right tools and you can have a perfect box for under $50.

Different power - DON'T do it again!!!! Home system is NOT 12v like a car.

Build your own box out of medium density fibreboard (MDF). Then you can make it the shape you want, etc. As long as the internal dimensions (cu ft) are the same as your sub needs (check Crutchfield.com for this), it can be any shape you like. Leave the Plexiglas and Lexan to the dorks with show cars. If you're going low-budget, you don't need plexi - Plus your box will be more solid. Solid box = better bass response.

Also, go with a sealed enclosure for better response. LLess boom, but more punch.

Boom sucks anyway.

Also i have a huge problem. The kenwood deck worked great with the amp connected to it(I had a too expensive/too crappy amp,so i returned it)but when i returned it and connected the deck to my speakers it doesn't wanna work.I put my old deck in and it works ok,except it's too weak for the speakers, what could be the problem?I'm pretty sure i connected it correctly.

OK...The amp that you posted is alright.. but it doesn't pch enough power to the speakers. I have a 2 ch 1000W Interfire amp.. that rocks! tell me what you want, like how many ch's and what watt's and all and I will get you a quote... e-mail me your address and I can even get you the price with shipping... you will get a really good deal. I have a hook-up at the stereo place. and then you can decide if you want to go with it or not...

The Autotek SX line is probably, IMO, the best bang for the buck line of amps out there, period. High quality, great sound, great customer service and relatively inexpensive price. I used to have an Autotek SX5750 5-channel amp and was very, very impressed with that amp. The only downside to this amp are the aesthetics, the logo looks like the chrysler emblem.

Another unsung line of amps, Hifonics, is great for the money. For two years, I tried every amp under the sun from Phoenix Gold to A/D/S to XTant to Soundstream to Precision Power. The fact that I now religiously use Hifonics speaks volumes for this company and their product. If you want a legit stamp of approval, check out DUB magazine: Ice T fully endorses Hifonics amps. He's got one in his Ferrari Modena. :D

I remember when HiFonics used to be swap-meet ONLY!

That's good info, Sope - I'm looking for a 1.5 DIN Jensen CD head unit (for mama's Suburban) and a cheap amp - Maybe I'll check out the Autotek and the Hifonics.

For your sub amp, D class is the choice of many (including myself):

The USX 600D puts out 375W @ 2ohms $157.99http://www.thezeb.com/caraudio/us_acoustics.html

and for your highs

The USX4065 puts out 65x4 @ 4ohms for $122.99

These are some of the Best! Low Cost amps you can find today!! Check out reviews everywere, Sounddomain.com, Carreview.com, etc. I myself had the 600D class and it drew no power from my alternator (in my Xplorer). For a wiring kit, Walmart sells the "1100Watts" amp kit for $24 and it includes a Distribution Block to wire up 2 amps at once. This kit is 60 @ Crutchfield. Or check out http://www.knukonceptz.com/ for other wiring needs.

This whole setup will cost you (drum roll)..... >$300
