i was brainstorming about doing a 5 lug swap and thinking about a brake upgrade, obviously any brake upgrade like a Q45 or Z32 you need to redrill the rotor to 4 lug, then i had an euphony :thinker what if i brought the 4 lug S13 hub to a machine shop with S14 studs, and have them redrill the hubs to 5X114.3 then put in the Studs, direct bolt-in you S13, any one think this will work??

Also, i am really confused about the S14 hub, does the S14 hub directly bolt-in on the S13 rear? thanks

Yes, it does. Personally, I still think the cleanest way to go about the swap is with S14 rear hubs and some aftermarket 5 lug hubs. Expensive, but everything fits without modification.

I'm not sure about the solution you presented. It might be a bit pricey to get those hubs machined, even if it can be done. Someone else might have some input in to that.

I was going to do the 5 lug swap, but eventually decided against it due to high cost and low "payout". I'd be content with some Kosei K1's on a 4 lug hub, and I'll most likely be sticking with my stock brakes. Anyway, still have other things to sort out with the car. :)

Or you can use a press drill, but be shore to drill a smaller hole then the studs and hammer the studs in.
