Does anyone know the the resistance is on the KA24E injectors are, because i bought 2nd gen eclipse injectors a set for $60 4 450cc and i tested the resistance and i got 3.31 ohms but i havent had a chance to test mine but if anyone know let me know cause if you goin SOHC ka-t then used eclipse injectors are a nice cheap injector upgrade if they fit im gonna send them out to marin motorsports and get them leaned flowed balanced and matched for like $25 each

I think they are top feed. You need a top feed fuel rail. But they are a great cheap upgrade, I know Honda guys use them (with inline resistors) on their turbo setups.

Do 240's use saturated or peak and hold injectors??

KA-E injector resistance is 13.8 ohms (14 ohms if you don't care, and it really doesn't matter) You'll need to splice in resistors into each injector plug, to bring the resistance down. I didn't know 2nd gen DSMs had 450cc injectors (thanks for the update.), I was going to go with the 2nd gen RX-7 (460cc, can be gotten in high 14ohm impedance version, if are taken off of 89+ models) or the T-II version of that car (550cc, same deal with resistance, 14ohms if 89+). Someone should compile a list of stock high flow top/side feeds that can fit our KA-Es/DEs.... Hmm... sounds like a project for next week :) Do the connectors on the DSM injectoes fit our KA-E harness? Because the RX-7 ones almost do, you just need to take off a little plastic from outside of connectors. Or you can just make ur own connectors. Also, the DSM injectors look alittle short and chubby, so I am wondering if their nozzles will fit into the KA-E intake manifold, and reach into the head as far as the original injectors. Can you check on that?

i dunno ill see if they fit in, i heard that GTR injectors and CA18DET injectors work also, how would i wire the resistors to make them work?

You take a resistor of the needed impedence, and cut one of the wires on the injector harness, for each injector, then solder in the resistors (one for each injector), and thats it. Figuring out exactly what kind of impedence the resistor needs to be is not complicated, but to make sure, read up abotu it in the net, I haven't dug into to that enough yet, because my project starts mid july, so I don't wanna give u wrong numbers. My gut feeling tells me that each resistor should be = 14 ohms - (whatever the DSM's impedence is, i.e. 3.3ohms) = 14-3.3 = 10.7ohms. But I'm not sure. We have a top feed rail, on our KA-Es, the GTr and CA18DET I think have side feeds. They will fit the DOHC 240s, but not our SOHCs. I'm also not quite sure about this, but I hope somoene can correct me, if I'm wrong.

All manual turbo DSM's have 440's or 450's. I can get the specifics from my DSM friend later on if you really want. The automatics have smaller injectors so make sure you get a manual.

Actually the CA18DET injectors are top feed 370cc and fit the KAE fuel rail, from what I've read. There was also talk about RB20DET injectors working on the KAE also, but I haven't confirmed that.

No..the Gtr injectors are top-feed...and the CA18's are too..

I understand.... The only point I'm worried about is that the DSM injectors seem to have too short of a nozzle to fit through the intake manifold, the way our stock ones do.

Look at the DSMs:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...34169

And at these KA-Es:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...08524

You can see how the two nozzles are different in length...And I don't know what the consequences of that are.

The 2nd gen RX-7 injectors on the other hand...

...are a perfect match, I have two here right now, comparing to stock ones...they are identical in every aspect except the connector is a tad bit different.
