what a great looking car. i love how the roof does not slump downward in the rear. the curves, the bends, the engine/transmission options, the front fascia & molding = A+. id love this car.

YES. Very sophisticated looking, and a more functional design than the Rogue I think. I really think the Rogue design fails due to the sharply sloping back roofline, which really eats in to the cargo area and limits the size of the hatch opening, and limits rearward visibility. Love the hood creases, and the overall more angular, square design.

Powertrain options and combos are many, including a small diesel and manual trans options, efficiency is far better than anything we have in North America. I'm really hoping the next-gen Rogue follows this lead.

That's all fine and well, but that's a photo of the Qashqai+2, hence the improved roofline.

Here's a shot of them back to back.

Man there is a lot of cargo room behind the 3rd row, if they offered that model in NA they'd sell a ton, I'm sure of it. Not even the larger Murano could accomodate that much length, so I'm really surprised to see the Rogue cousin offering that much interior room - I'm sold, where can I buy one??!!

I would definitely trade in my Rogue for the Qashqai+2 in a heart beat.

I was checking the options for the Qashqai+2 on the Nissan UK site and now of disappointment with Nissan USA. With the Qashqai+2 you can choose a Diesel engine and a Manual transmission... And no options like that for our Rogues in the USA.

I must be in the minority because I don't like it, first thing I thought when I saw it was it looks like a Volvo. Then I looked at volvo.com and it looks just like the XC60

I prefer the looks of the previous Qashqai

Ok that second picture looks good! For some reason it looks longer on the first one you posted.

Definitely all around better than the Rogue. I love that orange one lowered on GTR wheels.

It is longer. It is Qashqai+2, with third row seats.

To be honest, I personally don't like the design of my Rogue. For me; a Mitsubishi RVR or Kia Sportege, for example, is more beautiful. They look like designers spend time on the draft table.

...but it is like marriage. You get married with the woman you love.

-Is she the most beautiful girl in the world? No.
-Do you still find Charlize Theron beautiful? YES.

So what? You still love your wife. You are not looking to the other girls and say " wow, i should have married with that girl". And if you ever say/think so, for me, the marriage is over.

The design of the car is not the most important thing when I was shopping for a car. I can see Rogueone and ImStricken's funny jokes about my marriage example :naughty:

By the way I am right now in Long Beach California. It is nice to be here especially Ottawa had 15 inches of snow and freezing rain right now :picard:

Didn't see too much Rogue though... :squint:
