hats off to you guy! damn good job. i dont have the patience to push/pull bearings out lol. i just replace what the press-fit bearings are in.
good work mate! glad your problem is fixed. did you change the belt, while you were in there? (my belt went bad, about 1,000 mile prior to the a/c magnet. so i had to remove a belt twice in one month lol)
Thanks man! It was awesome to get it all going again.. What a great feeling.. I checked my belt while I was doing it and it was in great condition so it was not replaced..

This is really useful info. Thanks ImStricken06 and everyone.

Things that I learned:
1) buy the whole kit with new magnet, pulley, clutch and bearing. I initially bought just the magnet but the pulley got damaged while trying to get it out. Also, the old clutch did not provide a good bite when new clutch coil is engaged versus a brand new clutch. You don't want to be in a middle of this job and find out that your clutch is also worn out and need replacing and you don't have the complete kit.
2) Use a long pry bar such as a 24" pry bar from Harbor Freight and pry it from the top and rotate the pulley a few times to pry it out evenly. Since you'll be replacing the pulley, no need to be gentle on this.
3) Do not forget the snap ring. My pulley was damaged from forcing it out with the snap ring still inside. Good thing the compressor itself did not get damaged.

Overall, not a bad job if you watch the video carefully and do not make the same mistake I did. It's been running fine for more than 3 months now. I thought I'd write a thank you for this info and saving me $$$.
