My charging system in my car is all wonkey, sometimes it will run 14v than sometimes it won't when it is idleing.

The car dies instantly as you remove the ground from the battery, the alternator apperently only has about 5-8000 kms on it when I bought my newer KA24E. The battery is about a year old.

Any ideas what to check?

The altenator is no good.

figured as much, but I was hoping for a cheaper solution
