Hey there guys i am new to this fourm. i have a 1995 red s14. it was an auto that was converted to a 5 speed. the problem i am haveing is that after the swap was done the system dosnt wanna charge. the batter is new and i just took the alternator and had it tested it is also good. i dont know what to do next can any1 help me. i love the car but i havent even gotten to rly drive it yet :/

check your grounds. if you missed some then it wont fully complete the circuit. voltage drop your power battery cable and the resistance in your grounds and you will find your problem.

output of the alternator while charging should be 13.5-14.5 V. if its lower then start looking for corrosion.

thank bro i found out that i was missin a fuse block out of my box and i just had to run a like from the hot on the alt to the batt with 100 amp fuse in it and now its good thank u for responding :)
