Charcoal Canister removal for an S14

I have a 95 240 and my charcoal canister is in the way of some custom piping I'm running how do I remove it without cause the CEL light to go off? Which lines do I plug or can I simply remove them.

Also is there any benefit to removing the EGR system? Other than removing some of the clutter at the back of the TB.

I have done a search on the topic but only found information relevant to the S13.
