Getting ready for first oil change, got 3500 mi on it. I'm a car guy with hot rods and Corvettes and usually change my own oil.
Looking at a factory service manual on-line, it looks like you almost have to take the right front wheel off and the plastic inner fender out just to get to the filter?
If thats the case I may forego bothering with that operation. At the same time I can't see a drive in lub place doing the job either with that kind of effort needed. So. . . is taking it to a dealer the only real option for an oil change (and their $60 fee). Or is the do it yourself job a little easier than it looks
And I do the oil changes on my M35X with the twelve or so bolts removing the plastic under pan ( which is a PITA) so its not like I won't do a little work to get to the oil filter
