changing trunk lock cylinder on 95 SE

my friend just bought a 95 240SX SE, and for some reason her key unlocks everything on the car, except for the trunk, so im thinking we need to get a new lock cylinder.

but i just want to know exactly what is involved with changing it out. is it as simple as it seems? just out with the old one and on with the new one??
