Ok, i'm very new to this, my first time. it is for people who WANTS TO KNOW.

i changed oil on manual transmission of 92 240sx se.

HERE ARE THE STEPS:

stuff you need:

1. gear oil----75w-90, GL-4. i went with Redline mt-90, GL-4. MAKE SURE IT IS GL-4. other ones, like GL-5 will eat away your syncrhos.

2. good wrench, i mean really good one. i broke 2 of them trying to get filler plug out.

3. 1/2 inch ratchet-- to take out drain plug

4. rubber gloves--if you want clean hands. and YOU DO! oil=skin cancer

see the pic..

1. pull the drain plug2. let all the oil drain out3. put the drain plug back4. pull the fill plug or shifter5. fill the trans by adding oil to the filler hole(side of trans) with a suction pump, or remove the shifter assembly and pour in through the top if you dont have the pump5. put the filler plug back in or re-install the shifter when trans is full.
