is changing the tps a straight forward procedure of just replacing it or do i have to do something else? i heard that the tps has to be set when replaced, is this true? and if so how do i go by doing this?

it needs calibration. It should be ~0.5v at idle and ~4.0v at WOT. This is done with the key in the "on" position, don't start the engine.
