So ive read to do it and not to do it.

I would imagine if the engine is clean inside and doesnt burn oil it shouldnt be a problem. As it stands i dont know if my motor had or didnt have synthetic. Mine is super clean inside so im thinking of changing the oil tommorow to synthetic.

What do you guys think? do it or not?

Heres a pic of the motor in question.

Do it. I've got synthetic in my 129K mile VH. Synthetic oil is superior in every way to conventional, so go for it. I've run Mobil 1 and Amsoil in the past. For the money, I'd go with Amsoil oil and their filter. Regardless, it's all good stuff.

From what I have read/heard, the reddish/orange tint that you have on your internals means that synthetic has been used in the engine before. Also, it's only negative affect on a high mileage engine is seals so change them out and you should be good to go.
