how do i change the stock 94 bose cd player to an aftermarket Kenwood cd player

If you are planning on keeping the Bose speakers you will need a scotche adapter to tweak the output of the new headunit as each Bose speaker has its own Amp.Also you will need the harness adapter and antenna adapter.All of the above can be had a crutchfield.com

Do a search for 94 Nissan Maxima as they don't have the J30 in the system.Same audio system though.

What if you want to replace everything, the headunit, front and back speakers. What do you need then?

Head unit and new speakers

Some rerun speaker cables and some reuse OEM.You will still need the antenna adapter though.

You will need a pigtail that transfers the factory wiring to the new stereo. Also, just know that you will lose the ability to use the dash controls on the new unit (or i did anyway). the power antena will work. One bit of advice, someone told me that i needed to remove the backseat of my convertible in order to get the rear speakers out (WRONG). if you need to know how to do that, just email me.
