Hey what's up. I am glad to find a forum to talk about these issues. I had a 90' 300zx that got totalled last year and just got another 91' because I love the model so much. But I have to say, man.....this thing has issues. The last owner completely trashed the car. The bright lights are stuck in the on position so I can't flip it to low beam and after driving it for one weekend, the dash display went out. I already knew before these issues that I needed to change the timing belt and waterpump because who knows when it was done last. I am determined to bring this bad girl back to life. I am used to working on changing seals and miscellaneous items on american cars but it is a whole new ball of wax for the z. I don't even know where to start. I need some help to figure out the best way to go about changing the fan clutch, timing belt, idlers, tensioners, front belts and the waterpump. Can somebody help me out. I am definitely open to imput. I can't even start to enhance it until I get the mechanics straight.

it's really not too bad, the seals can be tricky mostly due to the crank gear not wanting to come off and not being made for use with a puller, some people recomend splitting it and replacing it? I simply left that seal alone as it wasn't leaking, as for the rest of the stuff, once you remove the intake piping, rad fan shroud, and get the fan and clutch out of the way it's all pretty easy, just pull the accy belts and the timing belt covers and it's all pretty much right there, honestly I found it easier to do the timing belt on the Z32TT than my old Z31 N/A, be sure to have a FSM handy, be sure you get everything lined up correctly and sped a couple dollars more the replace the tensioner stud while you're at it, cheap insurance
