I just replaced the passenger side window regulator, on my Q, and it was much easier thatn I thought it would be.

1. slide armrest off.2. remove 2 screws.3. VERY CAREFULLY pop the window and seat control panel off.4. Remove 3rd screw.5. Pop the inner door panel off.6. Unplug all the wires to the marker light, and window/seat control panel.7. Easily remove the plastic vapor barrier (be sure to not tear it, or get black gue all over.8. lower window to gain access to 2 screws. You might have to plug-in the control panel, if you can't do this by hand.9. Remove BOSE speaker and unplug connector.10. remove or loosten all screws holding regulator and motor. Some need only be loosened, to slide out of the holes.11. Unplug motor, and carefully pop tywraps through mounting holes.12. Pull assembly through speaker hole.12.5 Remove motor from old assembly & attach to new assembly.13. Install new assembly.13.5 Reattach motor leads.14. Clean and oil window tracks.14.5 Test motor several times.15. reassemble door.

The motor doesn't have to be at up or down positions, since it has no stops.

It took me about 1.5 hours. I also spent some time cleaning all the connectors, and chasing down an electrical gremlin in my door locks.

Easy as Pie!:ylsuper

Good job Jeff. It really is a DIY job.
