Changing the seats

Hi, is it possible to change the Vs seat so it comes with electronic controlls, that goes up down, back and forth and tilting? My 95 windstar had it

I dont think that the V came equipped with the powered seat feature. If you wanted to do something like that you could find a seat that has the feature and tap into a power source on the car to power the seat. But it is not something that would just bolt int.

Also, I believe the seats have side air bags? If so - don't defeat that!

they do have the airbags n them. a fully loaded sl has adjustable seats i believe,so all u have 2 do is find a wreacked sl w/good seats. LOL.

actually the SL does NOT have power seats, the only difference is that it has an extra handle which is like a pump to raise and lower the seat.

ALSO, sl passenger seats has a sensor that turn off the air bag if the passenger is less than 40Lb (?).

the pass seat n the s model has the airbag sensor also.

That is really a joke. Why they just didn't say both front seats have 4-Way Adjustments I don't know!

The Adjustments consist of (1) Forward, (2) Backward and (3 and 4) Recline.

yeah I hear ya on the airbags, you dont want to get rid of those if you have them. Although I did take a peek at the new Spec-V seats and I would love the chance to put a set of those in my V. Too bad that they are too wide.
