or do you think it should be ok where it is. given that now it dosent have a wall in the way to the other valve
kthxbi :D

if you went through that drastic of a change, why wouldn't you have just made a new lower manifold?

If you want I am sure I can source you a 4 port intake manifold.

Meminto changed the placement of the injectors on the 8 port manifold, he placed them underneath the manifold.

Check his build thread.

Meminto also used a different intake manifold. Thats an awesome design for someone who is doing like that, but how would one do that with a stock upper manifold.

OP, are you using an aftermarket manifold?

changing the lower intake manifoild is a PITA i amy staying with the stock manifold as i dont NEED to change it or spend the extra $700+ that can be spent else where. eg: converting to e85. i know its just a matter of drilling holes welding in injector bosses and making new fuel rail. but i thought i would see if any one else has a diffrent idea

i wont need a 4 port intake as it will have to be modded to fit the port work i have done and my lower intake has already been ported out to suit. my head porting is on the same page as memento just not with the bigger valves and some of the fancy stuff. it was just brought up in conversation with my builder that it might be a bit of a issue. even thow it will be better now then before with the stock 8 port

You won't have to much room to play with relocating the injector bosses to the mid point of the secondary runners up top...

The angle will need to change too.. more upwards in contrast to the stock position to allow for a more complete atomisation, the fuel rail may foul on the manifold itself...

Will be interesting to see your solution..

yer i didnt think about the rail hitting the manifold. i have a spare manifold here i can have a play with.
i also have to think about the dip in middle of the mid section as well

What if you filled the "dip", and just used standard weld on injector boss?
