You have to use a 168 or a 194. I just did it to my 97 QX4. Also lifting it next week with pics to follow!

So I ordered the 74 bulb from http://autolumination.com It did not fit so i found the Sylvania LED bulb 168 at autozone for 10.98! They are awesome.. So bright just like a new car. I did however use the 74's for all the little lights like blikers etc.. How do you post pics.. lol

Looking good! That bulb would appear to have a rather narrow viewing angle, but that is clearly not the case since the lighting of your cluster looks bright and even without any hot spots. It looks great!

Unscrew the two screws holding in the black cluster surround. Tilt the steering wheel all the way down. Grab the surround from the bottom and pull up; it'll pop loose then you can rotate it to move it out of the way.

Try placing a cloth on top of the steering column cover.

Hi, I have a 2002 QX4. Great auto. On the 4 wheel drive selector, one half is lit, there other is not. Can I replace the bulb? If so how. Also, one of my heated seat switchs no longer is lit. Can and how do I replace this? Thanks, Carl

Unfortunately, the 4WD indicator lamps are all LEDs soldered on to the instrument cluster's PCB. You can't feasibly do anything about it.

The heated seat switch (along with the hazard and rear defroster switches) use 12v microbulbs, which you can purchase from Radio Shack.

Posted on another thread (post6832958.html#p6832958) and thought I'd toss this on here as well. Looking for the make/model/part number of the light (3 ea) that go behind the drive selector knob (2wd, awd, 4wd hi and 4wd lo). The thread link has a photo of the original and then the Napa part number that ALMOST fit...

This is for a 2003 QX4.

Thanks!
