Changing the color of a rear center panel?

Hey whats up everyone? I have a green/blue light up center panel for my Z. But it looks tacky on my car because it's red. I was curious to know if anyone has ever changed the color of one, or knows how to. I'd like the change it to red or white. I haven't had a chance to take it apart yet though. Your input would really help. Thanks.

I assume you are talking about the center brake light panel that says "300zx" right? If it lights up... it's more than likely an aftermarket kit someone installed on it and usually can't change color. You can, however, get a different color kit and change it. Hope that helped a bit!
