Changing the air filter!!!

Does anyone have the directions for changing the air filter? I'm sure its not hard at all, but i wanna know exactly what im doing before i start.

All you gotta do is pop the retaining clips, maybe pull off the front half of the air box, and replace the filter.

This is random, but I'm watching TV right now, too, and just saw a RainX commercial, guess what car...the G.

Thanks man...yeah the G is everywhere!!! Im looking into buying a townhome and the place where im looking has a brochure with model homes in them...guess what car is in front of one the models.......The GGGGGG!!!! haha

Thanks for link...i just changed it. It was a piece of cake...just saved my self 20 bucks in labor!!

Thanks for the reference!!! By the way, in the G, can you blow out the dirt and dust with a power air hose like we could in the old cars, or is a replacement necessary? Do you remember (of course you do) when the air filter could be cleaned somewhat by blowing air from the inside of the filter to the outside?

Replace the filter. Don't "blow it out". Your car will love you more for replacing it.

I could be wrong, but I think if dirt gets past the air filter you can f#$k up your MAF sensor? Its cheaper to replace the air filter.

Better yet, just buy aftermarket intake. You'll not regret it. Easier to maintain these plus you get more horsey's
